Galey

Galey, John was born in 1834 in Adlestrop. Son of John Galey and Priscilla. He married Sarah Hope in 1862 in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire. He appears on the 1841 census for Didbrook, Gloucestershire; 1851 for Ashchurch, Gloucestershire; 1861 for Upper Swell, Gloucestershire; 1871 for Hawling, Gloucestershire; 1881 & 1891 for Handsworth, Yorkshire. He was a road labourer.
