Selwyn
Selwyn, Frederick Cresswell was born in 1895 in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Son of Alfred Cresswell Selwyn and Lucy Eliza King. He married Hetty Muriel Thomas 29 September 1917 in Alderbury, Wiltshire. He appears on the 1901 census for Milford, Wiltshire. He appears on the electoral rolls for 1925-1927. He was a gardener. He enlisted to fight in the Great War on 26 October 1914 for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, and was discharged on 24 December 1915 due to wounds sustained. He reenlisted 15 March 1916. Finally, on 21 May 1919 he was discharged in order to take up employment as a civilian. He was awarded the Silver War Badge. He died in 1967 in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
